Chérie Labat is taking care of our future. She is constantly considering and weighing the options of what is best for other people. Talk to her and you quickly realize that she is committed to her children… all 3,304 of them. Dr. Labat has been Superintendent of Columbus Municipal School District since June 2018. (Tell me someone who would have wished for her job last year in 2020). Chérie is certainly not afraid of a challenge. She’s a passionate thinker and is not afraid to listen. Chérie will tell you quickly that the best part of her job is watching students grow and learn. She believes in the importance of giving every student EVERY possible opportunity to be successful. She believes in the ability of all students. Chérie loves working with others who also want the very best for our children, because she realizes we can’t do it alone. Together is better.

That’s why Chérie became a member of 100 Women Who Care and encourages everyone to do the same. Join hands with other caring women and give together. It’s simple. It’s positive. IT WORKS.

Here’s what Chérie has to say,…

“Join this group of women who understands why and understands the purpose. Ceilings are breaking and there is work to be done in our community. Be a change agent. Join 100WWC!”

Thank you, Chérie, for caring.

Thank you for being a member of 100 Women Who Care.

You are indeed a sweetheart.
