Member Feature: Amy Bogue

In early May, 2020, Amy Bogue sent a text to The KISS Committee of 100 Women Who Care. The March Giving Circle had been postponed and most of us were still turning in circles. Her text read something like, “Hey! Let’s not lose momentum - should we try to meet using Zoom?” Amy’s text got us motivated. Quickly we figured out an alternative way to gather online and vote on our biannual Impact Award. It was no surprise that our members were enthusiastic and patient as we fumbled with new-to-us (and some of them) digital technology.

Amy Gillis Bogue believes in people. Amy believes that you don’t just say it, “YOU DO IT.”

She believes each of us can make a difference. Amy genuinely enjoys helping other people… and watching people see their dreams come true.

Amy’s hands and heart are in Allegro Family Clinics, caring for the health needs of our community. Another way she shows she cares is being a member of 100 Women Who Care. When her $100 donation is added to 99 other member donations, that adds up to $10,000. In two years those individual $100 donations made by people like you to 100WWC have totaled $64,000. 100% of this money has been given to local organizations. 100% of this money stays in Lowndes County. This is our promise.

Here’s what Amy says...

“100 Women Who Care is an EASY and EFFICIENT way to make a huge impact in Columbus! Join the cause and help us grow our impact!”

Become a member of 100 Women Who Care now and take part in our next Giving Circle, March 23rd. Double the impact and ask a caring friend to join too. We welcome all.

Amy and her youngest child, Bennett, are pictured here, harnessed and ready for a ropes course. When we decide to have our 1st 100 Women Who Care Field Day, we’re going to ask Amy to be in charge of activities.

Thank you, Amy, for helping make our community a better place for all of us. We love your spirit.
